Obituary for Carryon (Willard) Hankins-Dohovits

Carryon Faye (Willard) Hankins-Dohovits, 73 year old long time Vinita resident, passed away Wednesday March 13, 2019 at St. John’s Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Vinita, Oklahoma on March 21, 1947 to Lewis and Edna (Mason) Willard. Carryon worked at Eastern State Hospital for many years. She also drove a truck with her late husband, Tibor Dohovits. She made many friends over the years and loved spending time with her family. She loved to play bingo and spoil her grandkids every chance she got. She will be missed by all that knew her. Preceding Carryon in death, were her parents, husband Tibor Dohovits, her siblings Edgar, Martin, Clyde, Jimmy, Willard, Georgie Jones, Lucy Dohovits, Marie Dolan, Mildred Griffith, and Naidene Prather.
Carryon is survived by her three children Marty Straw, Loretta Rambsel, and Scott Hankins and wife Cleta, all of Vinita, Oklahoma, and six grandchildren Scotty Hankins Jr., Edward Hankins, Shannon Hankins, David Hankins, Karlee Straw, Kylee Straw, and thirteen great grandchildren, a very special niece Janis Voris, as well as numerous other family and friends.
The Celebration of Life Services for Carryon will be 2pm - Friday March 22, 2019 at Emmanuel Church in Vinita. Online condolences may be made at or on our funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are by the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral and Cremation Service of Vinita.
