Obituary for Terry L. VonSchriltz

Terry Lynn VonSchriltz, 64-year-old resident of Big Cabin, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at his residence. He was born on November 26, 1954 in Vinita, to Floyd G. and Lucille B. (McHaney) VonSchriltz. Terry attended and graduated from Big Cabin Schools, he also served in the United States Air Force. Before becoming disabled, Terry was a heavy equipment operator for the Hefner Construction Company out of Chelsea. He enjoyed buying, collecting and trading guns.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Joe, Marvin, and Everett “Buddy” VonSchriltz and Wilma Bailey.
The family includes: his children, Jerry VonSchriltz and wife Teresa of Branson, MO, Billy VonSchriltz and wife Denise of Langley, Wanda Thompson and husband Jerry of McAllen, TX; his care takers, Don and Linda Devore of Big Cabin; his siblings, Ann McGraw of Norman, Charles Von Schriltz and wife Tricia of Adair, Gay Seiber of Lone Oak, TX, and Treva Stogner of Enid; twelve grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
The celebration of life service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita, Pastor Shane Culp will officiate. Online condolences may be made at or on our Facebook page. Arrangements are by the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral and Cremation Services of Vinita.
