Obituary for Lomas Pansy Thompson

Lomas Pansy Thompson, 87 year-old Chelsea (Winganon) resident went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 25, 2018. She was born on November 14, 1930 in Vinita, to Charles Henry and Nellie Cynthia (Whiteday) Dawson. Lomas graduated from Ketchum High School, after high school she attended Contra Costa College in California and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She married J. Allan Thompson on October 14, 1949 in Huntsville, Arkansas, he preceded her in death on June 5, 1996. Lomas had lived in Eugene, Oregon until 2009, when she moved back to the Chelsea area. Lomas attended the Winganon Baptist Church. She loved to sew, fish, reading, taking care of her pets and being around her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, Myrtle Ralston, Pauline Coyne, and Nellie Mae Dawson Blackman.

The family includes; her daughters, Paula Renee` Thompson of Tulsa, Cynthia Anne Hayes of Winganon, Michele Lynn Thompson of Portland, Oregon; two grandchildren, Kimberly Rebekah Janik of Hillsboro OR, Logan Allan Smith of Lincoln City, OR; great-grandchildren, Anyanka and Andromeda Janik.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Carselowey Cemetery, southeast of Vinita. Arrangements are by the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral Home of Vinita.
