Obituary for Herbert Ray Hull

Herbert Ray Hull, 52-year-old long time Vinita resident, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Muskogee. He was born on April 15, 1965 in Vinita, to Herbert Hull, Jr. and Norma Jean (Murr) Hull. Ray had moved to Muskogee in November of 2016. He loved spend time with his family, long drives in the car and teasing and tormenting family members when he could. Halloween was his favorite time of year, he liked to get dressed up and wanted everyone to do the same. Ray liked the Fonz from Happy Days and partying with his family.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Herbert and Norma Jean Hull.

The family includes; his siblings, Emmett Hull and wife Bonnie of Pryor, Carol Selby and husband James of Vinita; nieces, Brandy Carlson and husband Clarence of Minneapolis, MN, Bridget Simmons and husband Justin of Vinita, Brittany Selby of Vinita; nephews Clinton and Chad Brewer; numerous great-nieces, nephews and other relatives as well survive.

The celebration of life service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018, at 2:00 PM in the Burckhalter-Highsmith funeral home Chapel, with Rev. M. E. Cashen officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita. Online condolences may be made at Arrangements are in the care of the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral Home of Vinita.
